Floorzone design
Floorzone design
The bit between the drawings and a floor that works — pipe layouts, heat loss, and a build-up that installers and the next trade can actually follow.
Intro
Most underfloor heating problems are designed in, not installed in. We design the floorzone as a package: heat loss, circuit layout, manifold positions, screed depth, and interfaces with the wider M&E — so estimating, programme, and site aren’t arguing with each other.
Who it’s for
• M&E and main contractors who need a clear package from drawings
• Architects and consultants at specification stage
• Developers and commercial projects where programme matters
• Homeowners and small builders on house / extension work (secondary path)
What’s included
• Heat-loss assessment for the floorzone
• Underfloor heating system selection and pipe layout
• Coordination with screed type and finished floor build-up
• Manifold / plant interface notes for the M&E package
• Clear drawings and info for pricing and install
How we work
1. Send drawings — GA / M&E / architect pack
2. We design & price — floorzone package, not a vague UFH quote
3. You programme — design that matches site reality
4. We deliver — install and screed with the same team accountability

FAQ
What’s a floorzone? The heated floor build-up — insulation, pipework, screed, and how it meets the room above and the plant beyond.
Can you work from our M&E drawings? Yes — that’s the usual commercial route.
Do you only design, or install too? Both. Design-led delivery is the point.
Domestic projects? Yes — same standards, simpler route in.
